We Love our Mother | Small Business Branding Photography + Indoor Lifestyle Photoshoot | Bronx, NY

The month of May is beautiful for many reasons, not just to us, but to many people around the world. Of course, we are so excited that Spring is finally in full bloom. The Month of May is also, the Month of Mary, the one woman in the entirety of existence who suffered much with great love; additionally, today's month of May started with the feast day of St. Joseph--talk about a powerhouse month for family and work--truly great examples of laboring with love and something we aim for in everything we do as well.

For us in particular, this month marks many special events, both private and public, including new ventures! And, perhaps if you stick around and keep reading our updates, you will learn and see why (all we can say right now: is please keep us in your prayers!! It is greatly appreciated). Let us, at least say, that we have continued to learn much about love, and are more committed than ever to live our lives together, with and for Love as The Goal. In just a couple of weeks, it will mark our 3 year anniversary! This one is going to be extra special because of some really exciting news that we can't share just yet... But hang in there, it's almost time!! Let's just say we really look forward to collaborating with our new friends at Glorious Moments Photography.

Before we continue any more on our own emotional joys, we want to highlight a great Mother that we had the privilege of getting to know this past month. She is the owner of one our new favorite small businesses, Rose's Mama Creations. From artisanal drinks, to colorful and sweet chocolate-covered strawberry-rose-bouquets, and custom designs like this birthday balloon featured below, she is truly a creative and dedicated small business owner. With a heart for her daughter, she is an entrepreneur who, just like Mother Mary, does all things for the love of her family. We respect mothers who live this Truth in everything they do (just like our own mothers), and we both look forward to the day when we can take part in that Truth when it comes time to start our own family.

Here are some of our favorite images: both branding for her small business, and of her beautiful baby girl who recently turned 7 months!! (P.S. These are her very own sweet treats and custom made balloons!)

Her Mother's Day treats are going on now--be sure to order some for yourself or the mother that makes all the difference in your life!

Message her here and let her know we sent you ;) She will deliver to you/your loved one--and just in time for any last minute Mother's Day gifts. Enjoy and may this month of May be filled with Love of Family.

Family Portraits in The Cloisters, Fort Tryon Park, New York City

Happy Fall everyone!

We are happy to welcome a fruitful season in our lives: as a couple, as individuals, and as a business. We are wrapping up our First Fall Mini sessions!! (super exciting), and recruiting now for Christmas Portraits as well (be sure to check your email for your special promo code; Don't receive our emails yet? Let's change that!).

Now, we are trying our hand at portrait photography for individuals and we are excited to finish those images to share with you! In the meantime, we still are really in love with the family dynamic: we care about families so much, because, hey, they are the beginning of our world, right? Families are so important, and as we get so close to Thanksgiving (Happy Thanksgiving!!), we are continually reminded of how grateful we are for our families that we have photographed, and our families that surround us on a day-to-day basis.

Let's keep it real, of course, families can be very challenging. This can be true with all sorts of personalities in the family, and for many other reasons (and both Tim and Steph can confirm that their own families are NO WHERE near perfect). However, we choose Love every day. We choose to Love our families and we are so grateful for them--in the good times and bad. This Thanksgiving, we hope to keep big smiles and hearts full of love. Please join us in choosing Love for our families!

We hope to keep up our big smiles and happy hearts like this beautiful boy, and his awesome family! Cheers to where it all starts: Love.

What are good ways for you to keep a happy home (especially when the tough times roll around)? Please leave us your comments and help all families succeed!

Sweet Girl turns 5! A Special Birthday Photoshoot | The Cloisters, Fort Tryon Park, NYC

We are finishing up photos from two very special photoshoot sessions for a very special and sweet, little girl, Isabella. This little princess has the biggest heart of any five year old we know (so far)! She is so brave, as she witnessed Tim's health scare this past summer--and it was her sweet smile that helped Steph keep her composure to make sure that Tim could get to a hospital safely.

Needless to say, it is still an episode that has left it's mark on our relationship and something we are so grateful to have gotten through, together. And this family will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Fun fact: Sweet Isabella made Tim the cutest get-well note, and we look forward to framing it and hanging it in our studio office in the future! It will always be a special reminder of Love and Hope for us.

For the first part, we began with some shade in the trees, moving over to a wonderful path with beautiful flowers while the kids got to play, running and blowing bubbles. On the second part, we began again in the lovely flower path, moving to end the session with fun on the playground. The kids did great and the parents rocked it too (more to come)!

Here are some of our favorite images from their beautiful birthday photography session!

Top 5 Reasons to Make Time for Family Portraits

"Here's one of my favorite pictures in the whole world: my mom and uncle holding my sister a couple of days after she was born. As her big sister, I wish there would have been more precious moments captured in a more intentional way: through professional photography. Because time is precious. ..."
